My husband and I are researchers when it comes to buying most of the things for our home, and it was no different when it came to searching for the furry pup we wanted to call "our third child."

Once we decided that we wanted a Goldendoodle for our family, I took to the web and spent quite awhile looking for breeders in our area/state. There were a lot of them, but our search options had to be a little more advanced. We have a daughter who is on the autistic spectrum and wanted a breeder who provided training prior to us picking up our four-legged friend. That narrowed down the search considerably!

The very first website I stumbled upon was Steel City Puppies. As I looked through the site, I really got a sense of who they were and what great care they put into their puppies. I kept it in our favorites and kept searching, but no other place compared - in love and care, price point, and location. This was just based on their website alone.

As I started to communicate with SCP via email, they were very responsive, answered all of my questions, and kept us up-to-date throughout the waiting list process.

Once the puppies were born we were able to see pictures and videos almost every day. What was advertised on the website was indeed a reality - these puppies were loved and cared for in a safe, clean environment. The puppy selection process was easy and in the end we found the exact right pup for us.

We paid for the training and throughout the process were sent videos, pictures, and even a progress report so we could follow her progress. She came home to us knowing how to follow basic commands, potty trained, and has been amazing around our children. Even after having her home, SCP was readily available to answer any questions I had , and offered great advice for a successful transition.

I would definitely recommend SCP to anyone looking for a Goldendoodle, Poodle, or Labradoodle. It is completely worth the investment and we could not be happier with our choice.
